The debate regarding whether the great writer Miguel de Cervantes, the author of Don Quixote, had a Converso background and was even a Crypto-Jew continues in an article in the FORWARD.
The article titled “The Secret Jewish History of Don Quixote and Miguel de Cervantes surveys the opinions of various scholars how have investigated the Cervantes and his most notable work.
Whether Cervantes was a Converso or not ,it is clear that his knowledge of Judaism was fairly extensive.
