I was searching for material in Spanish on Conversos and came a book titled Los Conversos en la Nueva España by Dr. Alicia Gojman Backal I had the pleasure of communicating with Dr. Alicia Gojman Backal via email several times.
I have started to read it and her book is an excellent Spanish resource It was published by the Mexico the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, Escuela Nacional de Estudios Profesionales Acatlán in the 1980s.
The challenge is in finding a copy, but several libraries including the University of Southern California have copies available for inter-library loan. I was luck enough to have the Asher Library at the Spertus Institue of Jewish studies locate this copy.
If you are able to do some research , it is worth the effort. As I proceed with book, I will try to provide updates on material that I find.
